Our story

Shiv Ganga Hybrid Seeds Private Limited, a well-known brand name Hari Har Seeds, was founded in 1989 by Ravinder Gupta, Satish Gupta, Mahesh Gupta and Vinay Gupta. Their mission was to improve agricultural productivity, support farmers and contribute to global food security through superior quality seeds.

Hari Har Seeds began as a small seed and pesticide shop in 1978 in Hisar, Haryana state. Through dedication and hard work, the company gained recognition for their exceptional seed varieties, such as high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to diverse climatic conditions.

Our Team

Ravinder Gupta, an artificer of Hari Har Seeds planted a small plant in pot in 1989 which emerged as baniyan tree in the form of Shiv Ganga Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd. Hisar with in span of 35 years. The visionary and dynamic approach carved this organisation to become a prominent seed supplier over India and specially Haryana State which is prominently known for culture as agriculture. Backed by knowledge and experience of problems of agrirarians gathered by dealing and disseminating insecticide, a vital input necessiated for plant health attracted his attention for the genesis of another paramount input -seed to boost up not only better quality but best and ample supply of seeds.
At the onset of this business he was at his full youth, pubrity full of enthusiasm confidence coupled with strong and stout physique to take for going decision to shape SCHS and he started fostering the seed production with a small unit which resulted two big units at Hisar and Juglan spread over 20 acres. Equipped with positive thinking of doubling the profitable income of peasantry, besides quality seed, the evolution of new cultivar aimed and as result a separate unit of Research and
Development was eracted on an area of 11 acres land with all sort of facilities and a fleet of young, energetic, dedicated devoted scientist having latest technical know how. Untiring efforts of Gupta Ji achieved his goal of R&D recognition from DSIR, in recent past.

the steep growth and over all expansion voluminous production and of quality seeds as he tied the harmonious knot with seed growers. He maintained
cordial relations with trading community to carve very good team to tackle the seed dissemination but well before sowing season coupled with nearing farms.
He was imbibed with uncountable traits of humanity, business and friendly behaviour with workers, government authorities, universities and scientists which resulted a remarkable and lofty heights of this esteemed organisation.
But the Almighty played an act to snatched away him by crual hands in 2020 otherwise we have touched the sky under his noble guidance and path paved for us
